UNMISSABLE SHORT FILMS | The Maker

Cinematic excellence doesn’t have to come in 90-minute slabs, so here I look at the very best short movies around. If you’ve got a little spare time, bang one of these beauties on – satisfaction guaranteed.

#5: The Maker [2012]

Tim Burton meets classical music: something which appears to be a twisted toy bunny creates a bride for himself, and desperately attempts to will it to life. This is a pretty moving short, musically-driven, and touches on themes of love, the absence of love, and waiting for the end. Life is what you make it.
